Lovely Potatoes

Thursday I went down to my moms to take pictures of the kids for our calendar next year.  More of that to come later.
After we were done I left the kids there to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa.  We said we were "kid free" for the weekend, however we still had Korinthia.  It is amazing how one kid feels like nothing after having three!
Anyhow, we enjoyed our "time off" spending most of it at home or going for walks.  We got caught up on a little house work, and got to spend some much needed time together.
Sunday I made a turkey dinner while I waited for the kids to get home... I was peeling potatoes and found the coolest potato ever, after I started peeling it I realised I should have waited and baked it for Valentines day... I had to take a picture of it, does that make me a nerd?

I know this is a somewhat lame post, but our kid free weekend was pretty much just playing games and planning and getting rid of stuff... and I have not yet gone through and picked which of the 426 pictures we took for the calendar to post on here.
My next post will include the children and be slightly more interesting!

  1. I think the potato is cool. I agree, it would have been cute for valentines day. So, what are the plans for the service? Is that still something you all are doing? It must have been nice weather for walks and such. I am glad you enjoyed your time this past weekend and will look forward to the pictures of the kids later. *smile* Blessings.-me-(Mommy of two little blessings)

  2. Well... it might make you a nerd, but that isn't anything I haven't known for years! :) It is definitly a cool potato though. I weeded down the 426 to 195 on Myspace... some of them were REALLY bad and not focused and that sort of thing. :)
