Here comes the sun

On Sunday we went down to visit family and have my mom look at Korinthia to make sure she was ok.
While we were there, before Lillie got sick, the kids had a blast playing outside and riding the 4wheeler with Papa.  I wasn't there, but apparently Malaki hit the throttle on Sunday while they were riding and he and my dad did a wheelie... I am so glad I didn't see that!  I guess it scared them both pretty good... Dad normally hits the brakes when Malaki tries to make it go, but he uses the front brakes, and when the front tires are not on the ground the breaks don't work.
Anyhow, Malaki was telling me what happened and demonstrated with his hand how he used his thumb to hit the throttle.  Then on Monday when they were getting ready to go ride again I mimicked his hand motion and asked Malaki if he was going to do this again...
"nooo that's so scared!" he replied.  Thank goodness, no stunt child yet!
Anyhow, here are some pics and a couple videos of them having a blast! The pictures are in no particular order, and in fact the first ones are them tired out on the way home.

  2. Wouldn't your kids be your kids safer in baby seats in the car? They don't even have their shoulder belts on. What are you thinking?

  3. They are both in booster seats... their blankets just cover them up.
