- Malaki is no longer terrified of everything, in fact he often surprises me in how NOT scared he can be. Except when it comes to dogs, he is still petrified of dogs.
- When asked "How old are you Malaki?" He replies "oh Malaki's 4" however he is not yet 4, that comes this Saturday, when you try ad remind him of that he responds with "no I AM 4!"
- Malaki and Lillie can both change DVD's, turn on the TV and start a movie of their choice.
- when thirsty the go to the fridge and bring me whatever it is that they want to drink for me to pour into their cups.
- When washing dishes they are actually able to help, and by help I don't mean make things harder.
- Korinthia is now standing with no help, and thinking about trying to walk.
- Lillie enjoys picking out her own clothes, and insists on wearing "pretties" all the time
- At the zoo they were able to name almost all of the animals, and they remember where they all are and are able to lead me in the direction of the animal they want to see.
- When we turn on to 6th Avenue the kids immediately get excited because we are at Grandmas house, even though we are actually still a few blocks away.
- Malaki will often tell me which ways I need to turn to get home from the store.
- My mom is getting "big kid" bikes for them for their birthdays.
- Malaki understand that he only has a few days till his birthday and he needs "presents and a birthday cake... um chocolate please"
- Everyday I look at them I see kids, not babies, and I wonder when they grew up, didn't I just get married!?!?

Wow! Those are some important milestones and they really are growing quickly!
ReplyDeleteThe thing that makes me the most sad about this... I'm not going to get to be a part of it anymore. And they do change so fast. I'm so glad Kaden came before you guys leave... otherwise I don't think I could even pretend to be civil about you going far away!
